Location: Bright feel-good corner
Your Wentii loves light, but please without blazing midday sun. A spot near a window (north, east or west) is ideal. The more indirect light it gets, the more beautiful the play of colours on its leaves will be. -
Watering: Less is more
Wentii is very uncomplicated here. Only water it when the top layer of soil (approx. 2-4 cm) has dried out well. It is more forgiving of being a little drier than having wet feet. A pot with a drainage hole is therefore essential to prevent waterlogging! -
Humidity: A little jungle feeling
Although it can cope with normal room air, it likes slightly higher humidity for optimum growth and magnificent leaves. An occasional spray in the morning or a humidifier nearby will make it extra happy. -
Nutrients: food for the growth phase
Spring and summer is growing season! Give your Alocasia a green plant fertiliser in the concentration recommended on the packaging every 4 weeks from April to September. In autumn and winter, it takes a break and does not need any fertiliser.
