Are you ready to raise a legend? Our Alocasia baginda 'Aegis' baby plant is no ordinary green roommate. It's a mythical creature in plant form, a living shield with the texture of dragon skin, just waiting to grow into an imposing presence under your guidance.
A shield of the gods for your home
The name 'Aegis' comes from Greek mythology and refers to the protective shield of the gods - and when you see its leaves, you'll immediately understand why. The thick, leathery texture and deep green, almost armoured-looking leaf veins are reminiscent of the scales of a dragon. Each leaf is a work of art in its own right: robust, textured and with a raw, primal beauty. Your little guardian starts its journey as a baby plant, but it harbours the full potential of one of the most fascinating "Dragon Scale" alocasias. You'll be there live as each new, shield-shaped leaf unfurls!
From small dragon to statement decoration
This selten plant is the ultimate statement piece for your urban jungle. Its unique feel and dark, majestic colour make it an irresistible eye-catcher. It is the perfect addition to any sophisticated plant decoration and gives your room an aura of strength and luxury. If you want to buy an extraordinary Aroid that combines character and a fascinating story, you've found it. It's not just a plant, it's a guardian, a symbol of strength.

Your 'Aegis' baby guide: How to make your shield invincible!
Wow, you're holding a little dragon in your hands! But don't worry, this one is very tame. The Alocasia 'Aegis' is more robust than you might think. With our instructions, raising it will be an epic adventure with a happy ending.
Location: A bright spot for the guardianYour 'Aegis' loves a very bright spot, but without direct sunlight that could burn its dark, elegant leaves. A place in an east or west-facing window is its throne. The more indirect light, the stronger and more beautiful the leaves. Watering: The balance of power
This Alocasia doesn't like to stand in water all the time. Always let the top 3-4 cm of soil dry out well before watering again. The finger test is your most reliable oracle! A pot with a drainage hole is crucial to protect the strong roots from rotting. Humidity: dragons like fog
High humidity (ideally >60%) is important for perfect, flawless leaves. Spray it in the morning, set up a humidifier or place it in a group with other plants. This will make it feel like it's in a tropical cloud forest. Nutrients: power food for growth
During the growth phase from spring to autumn, your little dragon will have an appetite. Give it a green plant fertiliser in half concentration every 4 weeks. In winter it rests and does not need any additional food.
Your path to glory: Watch your 'Aegis' with joy and be proud of every new, armoured leaf. You and your little guardian - you can do it!
