It can cope with slightly less light than its variegated cousins, but the brighter it is, the stronger it grows and the more it retains its beautiful, dark leaf color.
Watering: The golden rule – let it dry out!This is the most important secret for a happy Ficus: it hates wet feet! Always let the top 3-5 cm of soil dry out well before you reach for the watering can again. The finger test is your best friend. When in doubt, wait another day. Waterlogging is an absolute no-go!
